The Potok Martin Trust
The Potok Martin Trust was created by Anji and Pete Martin in honor of their beloved tabby, Potok. She was a wonderful cat and made the world and those around her happier and brighter. The Martinʼs always did what was best for Potok and in her final months, she received ongoing treatments and therapies for her battle with kidney disease. After Potok lost her battle, the Martinʼs decided to make it their mission to help owners facing financial challenges while trying to provide the best care possible for their furry friend. Part of that mission is educating owners about the importance of pet insurance and how much it can help off-set unexpected medical costs. The second part of that mission is to provide direct financial assistance to pet owners facing an unexpected health cost with no other means to afford it.

Eligibility
- Client must provide evidence/proof of financial need- can be demonstrated by proof of unemployment, pay stubs, or by submitting a written letter explaining personal hardship and lack of financial stability.
- Cat must be an existing patient of Just Cats Clinic
- Cat must need an unanticipated and/or unexpected procedure, diagnostic work up or therapy (example- unexpected dental) that is crucial to their well-being and health.
- All requests are subject to approval by the trustee.
